Companion Card Accepted at Willunga Almond Blossom Festival

Almond blossom and a bag of almond

As the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival moves into its 49th year, this festival has gone all out to present a bigger and brighter event with activities for people of all ages. Of course, it wouldn’t be an almond blossom festival without plenty of almond-related activities. At the Almond Hub, visitors can enjoy cooking demonstrations by local chefs, talk to authors of almond-related books, browse the historic display of newspaper articles, stories, ball gowns, and other memorabilia and purchase tasty Willunga almonds. Kids can follow the Children’s Almond Trail (which includes a colouring competition), name the almond tree knocker on the oval, and receive a heart shaped tin full of almonds. And be there on Sunday to enter the almond cracking competition – all ages can take part.

There is so much more to see and do, including the Almond Blossom Parade down High Street on Sunday morning. See more.

Companion Card accepted at Oklahoma!

Oklahoma

Due to another overwhelming demand, and the 75th anniversary of Oklahoma!, we are coming back to Four Oaks Farm in January 2018. Set in the beautiful Adelaide Hills at Four Oaks Farm, we are bringing this beloved classic to life with a real windmill, a real surrey, live horses and a country fair to boot! Come along and totally immerse yourselves in this unique family friendly experience. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration remains, in many ways, their most innovative, having set the standards and established the rules of musical theatre still being followed today. Set in a Western Indian territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colourful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Although the road to true love never runs smooth, with these two headstrong romantics holding the reins, love’s journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road.
